Café Landwer, a Mediterranean-inspired fast casual with roots in Israel, introduced the Landwer Family Meal to meet consumers where they were. “When the pandemic first started, we noticed a change in the purchase behavior of our guests’ takeout orders. They were, on average, larger than usual. The demand was there, so we created the Family Meal, which feeds up to six people, to offer a simple solution,” says Executive Chef Eran Geffen.

He used a smart approach, designing a takeout item aimed at making everyone happy. “We decided to put together an eclectic flavor combination for the Landwer Family Meal. There’s a little something for everyone: meat lovers, vegans and vegetarians,” says Geffen. The Mediterranean feast includes: a Hummus Bowl seasoned with paprika and olive oil and topped with falafel; a Vegan Stir-Fry featuring Landwer’s rice and almonds, soy strips, vegetables and red wine; Chicken Shawarma; Schnitzel; and the restaurant’s signature dessert, Nutella Rozalach. Guests can also choose from sides like Chopped Israeli Salad and Crushed Potatoes.
